Open

Are you open to the plans God has in store for you? Or are you afraid to take that step of faith even though you know God is calling you to do something beyond your comfort zone?

When we grow in our Christian faith, we will find that God will mold us and move us into areas we aren't always comfortable with. Perhaps He wants you to be more bold in your faith. Or maybe he wants you to reach out to someone you don't particularly like. Whatever it is, God has His reasons for stirring your heart into action. He hasn't made a mistake when He called you personally to take care of this situation. He knows you are capable because He is ready and willing to give you the resources you need. You aren't going in alone. All He asks is that you are open to His direction; that you are willing, in obedience, to be sold out for Him.

If we call Him "Lord" then we must submit to His will. He has promised never to leave us or forsake us. So if you know God is calling you to do something, be open to His leading. Then He will equip you to do far beyond what you ever expected to do for His glory.
